I was out watering my squash patch this morning when I spotted something hilarious: One of my squash plants - which have been in the ground and growing for four months now - is only just starting to really fruit. In the meantime, this little bugger has put runners up a 30' tree directly behind the patch and on the neighbor’s property line, covering it almost all the way on one side.
This morning I realized that some of the fruit that are coming in are coming in at the top of that tree.
The size of my arm.
30' up.
