On the cartridge for my hubby:

The alternate version (mine):

On their leashes:

Happy dance: Now I just need to get the leather bandoleer portion and I can start putting these together!

They look awesome! I'm especially impressed with the wrapping on the wooden beads.

Tell that hubby of yours I say "hi"

The Renaissance Tailor (http://www.renaissancetailor.com/index.html) has a good set of instructions on how to make these (and a few other more basic styles of fabric covered buttons) here (http://hsifeng.livejournal.com/56327.html?replyto=378119).

Thanks sweetie, I am happy to have added the covered buttons to my resume...*chuckle* I have plans for them in future - I want to learn some more styles for making them. They are time consuming, but a lot of fun!
