Completely the husband's idea; he said something about needing temporary Moose ID and I managed to whip up these forgeries completely valid patches one evening before the event for him and his friend.

It was a great crew out this past weekend (honestly, we have a great crew every weekend - but this weekend had a BUNCH of folks out there who aren't normally with us). And Michaelmas was awesome, with many thanks to claughter713 for being the bestest co-conspirator EVAH on that project!

And oh yes, claughter713 was also the person who took all these photos!

For whatever reason everything around here collapses into eight straight weeks of overscheduling around the turn of October. And then it becomes Christmas. :P

I might just possibly be able to make a trip out *one* day this year.

It was! The feast went off wonderfully due to everyone's contributions and my fabulous co-hostess (claughter713), 'marketing' with the ladies was wonderful, watching the English yeomen be properly tormented by skilled camp followers was hilarious, and the rest was simply lovely.
